This waiting list is for Senior and Disabled Section 8 Project-Based Voucher rental housing assistance in Perth Amboy, New Jersey .

The Housing Authority of the City of Perth Amboy Senior and Disabled Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for Efficiency apartments at the Hansen Apartments is closed.

The HACPA last accepted applications for this waiting list until the earliest confirmed date of May 2, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

Please note: According to the HACPA public notice, "Applications will be accepted from the following category of families:

• U.S. Veterans (engaged in active duty or has honorable or general discharge) for which the head of household must be at least 62 years of age, or at least 18 years of age and disabled.  The number of household members must be only 1 person.
• Perth Amboy residents for which the head of household must be at least 62 years of age, or at least 18 years of age and disabled.  The number of household members must be only 1 persons"

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $43,150

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
